I’ll admit it. I didn’t know the meaning of Annalise. So I did the most intelligent thing. I Googled, surprise! Baby Name Wizard tells me that the name is of Scandinavian origin. It is a combination of Anne and Liese. Anne – meaning full of grace. Liese – God’s promise. Isn’t that beautiful? I look forward to talking first year milestone pictures of her.

Well, if they could have the joy of photographing her, as I did. She was one happy newborn who looked good in any color prop. Can you or I pull off pink sunglasses? Or look extremely cute wearing a cap that has a little ball of wool at the end? Nah! We would not. Never. Even if we were dreaming. But little Avery does, and so perfectly that you cannot imagine anyone in that pose with those colors.

But it is!
