Family Photography Millburn NJ: Family D
As a photographer, there is no greater joy than watching a family smile. To see them come together for the family photography session. With family D, the smiles were on full display. The really beautiful mom, who gave me the opportunity for an exclusive portrait. The kids, who were playful. They were laughing and enjoying. And then, having playful moments with mom. Can’t you tell she is a wonderful mom? Just look at how happy they are with her? Of course, our star performer, baby Reina, was here to smile again. You remember her, don’t you? From her cake smash photography session? Yes, the angel who looked pretty with wings, and when she was smashing into her cake. Well, this time the big brother matched her energy level. He was running around. Giving mom eskimo kisses.
Time for some interesting trivia
As I looking up a link for “eskimo kisses”, I came across this very interesting context of these kisses. According to Wikipedia’s article (click here), “It is loosely based on a traditional Inuit greeting called a kunik.[1] A kunik is a form of expressing affection, usually between family members and loved ones, that involves pressing the nose and upper lip against the skin (commonly the cheeks or forehead) and breathing in, causing the loved one’s skin or hair to be suctioned against the nose and upper lip.[2] A common misconception is that the practice arose so that Inuit could kiss without their mouths freezing together. In fact, it is a non-erotic form of greeting that serves as an intimate way of greeting one another for people who, when they meet, often have little except their nose and eyes exposed.”
Interesting, eh? 🙂 I never knew.
