Remembering 2014: Newborn Photography

2014 is behind us, and I hope the new year has a lot of happiness in store for all of us. For those who came to me for newborn sessions, I am sure you have enjoyed the first crawl, the first feeding, the first walk…the list continues. That’s the joy of newborn photography, it keeps giving. You take those lovely photos home and before you know it, those moments are gone. Your little baby is little no more. He/she is running around the house, crawling and making those cooing sounds that tug at your heart every time you hear them. Every time you miss it, you look at that canvas at the wall and see your little one in that froggie pose, smiling at you, and a smile comes to your face.

Well, mom and dad, we miss those moments too. This is why I LOVE being a newborn photographer. Those precious faces they make, the cute cheeks that just puff, and the little cries when they are hungry. Every time I write about it or look back at the photographs from the sessions, I get the baby fever all over again. Photography is my passion, and newborn photography the flame that keeps it going.

With that, let me share many different moments from 2014. A collage of many different newborns. Photos that were shared and/or liked by you. If I missed you, don’t let me do that.
