Beauty in simplicity

Alex’ mom approached me for a cake smash photography session when he was about 10 months old. That was perfect because my sessions tend to fill up about 2 months in advance. It was also good because it gave mom and I a chance to discuss color and theme preferences. She wanted a simple cake smash with a blue color theme. A simple colorful banner, a blue and white cake, blue jeans and white shirt…you get the picture.

Joy of the cake smash is in the smiles

The simplicity of the cake smash session was complemented by the smiles that Alex showered us with, during the entire session. This kid smiled all the time. There was no crying, not even for a single second. And that clearly shows in the pictures.
