The Art of Smashing Your First Birthday Cake
In “Zen and the Art_of Motorcycle Maintenance “, the author and his son take a 17 day motorcycle trip from Minnesota to Northern California. If you haven’t read this book, go for it. We won’t go into details but it offers a unique insight into human philosophy.
We believe there’s a bigger art to smashing your first birthday cake. It requires careful attention to detail. It’s your first opportunity to show your personality, your style on how you challenge in front of you. Do you immediately go at it and smash it? Do you wait, enjoy it a little, and then “take care of the cake”? 🙂 Or do you gently go at it – no one notices but by the time you are done, the cake’s had it?
