Time to get clean after a long, tiring but really fun Cake Smash Photographer Mendham NJ session

Something interesting about Mendham NJ

Here’s something really interesting about the town of Mendham NJ. Peter Dinklage, the really awesome and famous actor grew up here. If you don’t know about him, he is an award wining actor for his work in The Game of Thrones. He was a great actor in shows like Nip/Tuck even before his work was appreciated in GoT. Or at least, I thought so. I recall that one time, this was around 2013, I was in New York City around Broadway and 40th street. As I was right around the corner, turning from Broadway on to the 40th street, I see someone coming up the stairs from the N/R/W train station. Who else? It was Peter Drinklage. I so wanted to shout, “you are an awesome actor”. But he looked so serious that I just let it go. Would have been fun, right?

Another great celebrity associated with this township was Whitney Houston, the singer. She owned a house here, also the site of her wedding to Bobby Brown in 1992. Interestingly, the house has more car garages than bedrooms – it is a five bedroom, five bathroom and six car garage house – that finally sold to a local physician in 2014 for $1.5 million. If you are interested, you can see photos of the house (from 2014) by clicking here. Let’s just say that it is an interesting house. Personally though, I am not too big of a fan of the style in the house. Then again, I believe the house was built in 1992 so it might just be reflective of those times.
